Accessibility Statement

1Our aim

Competer is built so that aspirants can browse, search and order study material on any phone or computer, including with a screen reader, keyboard only, or enlarged text.

2What is in place

• Pages are laid out for phones first and scale up without sideways scrolling
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall for touch
• Images of products carry their product name as alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
• Headings, landmarks and form labels are in place for assistive technology
• The site works without a mouse: every control can be reached and used with the keyboard

3Known limits

Some older product descriptions supplied by publishers contain images of text. We replace them as we re-list products.
